MY MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE OF ACQUAINTANCE PARTY

"Glimpse of memories that night in our acquaintance party is very important to me. It should be remembered and kept to my heart and mind." 

Acquaintance Party is one of the most common and awaited events in every colleges and universities. It is the time to build bonds between students, school administration staff and instructors. This is the time to welcome the first year college students and SHS students, help them acclimatize with their new environment, and also help them to boost their confidence as a college student. Acquaintance Party usually held at the beginning of the semester where students have the opportunity to meet each other. And the time for the students to get rid of the anxieties about the rigors of college life because it enables them to have a splendid time to unwind for a while. This parties are important because they help students get to know each other at a new school, or with a new group of people. It's an opportunity for students to meet, ask questions, and make friends and study partners.

           This is my first time attending Acquaintance Party, my memorable experience is boosting my confidence infront of everyone by facing them wearing my beautiful smile. And also meet our instructors personally and taking pictures with them. I still remember that I was a bit nervous as I didn't know many people. But as the party started, my nervousness faded away. The decorations were beautiful and the place was filled with excited chatter and laughter. The music was lively and everyone was encouraged to dance. The combination of music and smile of friends made the party memorable experience.

College and SHS students of Davao Oriental Institute Technology (DOIT) acquaintance party was held last October 7, 2023 at Gymnasium of CAPITOL CITY OF MATI. The theme of the event was "GLITZ & GLAM" so students were advised to wear the said attire. Preparing myself for this event drives me crazy. For some reason it's my first time to join this momentous event in my life. Facing different faces from different places make me proud to be one of a kind existing person here on earth for me as a new college student. Choosing the right attire is a witness on how you love yourself because personality reflects on how you dress up. The unpredictable weather and the warm ambiance of the venue did not stop the students of DOIT to attend the party and did not lessen their excitement. They were warmly welcomed by the DOIT FAMILY especially the College instructors and Staff. The main aim of this activity was to build the sense of camaraderie, love and unity among the SHS students and college students.
